PASTORIAL DIVISION

Casa Guadalupe Education Center, Pastoral Division is a Catholic Hispanic Ministry of the Archdiocese of Milwaukee.

“In the Church, no one is a stranger and the Church is not foreign to anyone, anywhere.” - Pope John Paul II

Upon Casa Guadalupe Education Center Inc.’s incorporation in 2006, Archbishop Timothy M. Dolan wrote to Casa Guadalupe Education Center, Inc. saying, “As I have said repeatedly over the past few year – Hispanic Ministry is a priority for me, for this archdiocese and for the Church in the United States. I want you to know I support you very much.”

“A thoughtful reasonable American, especially if he or she cherishes the moral teachings of the Bible, is always going to look with compassion upon the immigrant, be sensitive to their plight, eager to welcome the alien to a country whose proudest boast is hospitality, and be vigilant lest the hatred and bigotry that has haunted us in the past will embarrass us again.” Archbishop Timothy M. Dolan, Herald of Hope, July 26, 2007

According to the 2000 U.S. Census, 40% of all Catholics are Hispanic. Because of this need Casa Guadalupe Education Center, Inc. offers programs to help guide faith formation.
