Mission Statement The mission of Casa Guadalupe Education Center, Inc. is to be the bridge of integration to Hispanics and to the communities in which they live through education and pastoral faith formation.
HISTORY
An Hispanic outreach program co-founded with St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church in 1995 by Executive Director, Mary Lynn Bennett provided the foundation for Casa Guadalupe Education Center, Inc.
The St. Frances Cabrini Hispanic Outreach was expanded in 2001 to include the involvement of Hispanic residents, representatives from education, social services, law enforcement and medical fields to discuss areas of common concern, develop solutions and build multicultural relationships.
In 2000, St. Frances Cabrini Hispanic Outreach received the Archdiocese of Milwaukee Social Justice Award for its relationship building at a community level between Hispanics and the community at large.
In 2004, the Archdiocese of Milwaukee recognized the dramatic growth of the Spanish-speaking immigrant population in Washington County and appointed Fr. Rafael Rodriguez as an Associate Pastor at St. Frances Cabrini. Rev. Rodriguez, together with Mary Lynn Bennett, co-founded Casa Guadalupe Education Center, Inc., a non-profit organization in 2006.
Casa Guadalupe Education Center builds and supports the ability of low-income Hispanic and Hispanic families to integrate successfully into American society and to achieve spiritual, economic, and social well being.
