Volunteer Job Description: If you are energetic, organized and committed to helping Hispanics speak English, this is a great opportunity to help our Spanish speaking neighbors learn to speak English and better acculturate in Washington County. For Basic English Instruction, some Spanish is helpful. It aids in explanations, but spanglish will suffice. We use the Aprenda Ingles book and have a teacher's manual for Basic and Intermediate Basic students. The Semester is 14 weeks with holiday breaks. We follow the West Bend School Calendar.
Qualifications of Volunteer: Loves to Teach, dependable, energetic, organized, committed, motivated, tolerant, patient, and transportation to site.
Minimum Age: 18
