Mission Statement
The mission of Casa Guadalupe Education Center, Inc. is to be the bridge of integration to Hispanics and to the communities in which they live through education and pastoral faith formation.

Mary Lynn Bennett is bilingual and bicultural, having studied in Spain and Mexico to earn
her education degree from the University of Wisconsin. She taught in private and public
schools before beginning her own business, Bilingual Skills Services in 1996.
Mary Lynn worked as a multicultural trainer and workplace productivity (English and
Spanish) for three years with a major manufacturing firm in Wisconsin.
In 1996, she founded the St. Frances Cabrini Hispanic Outreach with Fr. Jeffrey Haines, Pastor at St. Frances Cabrini in West Bend, WI. The Hispanic Outreach program began with basic English lessons and graduated to assisting with the everyday needs for the Hispanics it served. Under her direction the Hispanic Outreach developed a collaborative network of community partners such as the University of Wisconsin - Washington County, Moraine Park Technical College, the Department of Human Services, area law enforcement, West Bend Public Schools System and Children’s Hospital of Milwaukee.
In 2006, she co-founded Casa Guadalupe Education Center with Rev. Rafael Rodriguez, Associate Pastor of St. Frances Cabrini Parish, West Bend, WI. In 2007 she was voted one of the 100 Most Influential People in Washington County and was a top ten finalist NAWBO for the State of Wisconsin. Mary Lynn recently completed a 10-month Latino non-profit leadership program provided by Cardinal Stritch University and the Roberto Hernandez Center at the University of Wisconsin. She is one of the founders with the Museum of Wisconsin Art, the Family Center of Washington County, and the Ethnic Cultural Alliance of Washington County.
Rev. Jorge Manuel Blanco Calderon, PhD

Rev. Blanco entered the priesthood in 1973 and served as the Diocesan Pastoral Vicar of
the Southern Region in Norovagachi, Guadalupe and Calvo in Mexico. In 1983, he
obtained his doctorate in Moral Theology from the Pontifical Urban University in Rome and
returned to Mexico, where he taught at the Papal University of Mexico. One year later, he
returned to Rome to become part of the Addministrazione del Patrimonia della Santa
Sede to organize the Youth Ministry in the Italian Diocese of Sabina and Poggio Mirtetto.
In 1986, he was invited to collaborate in CELAM as the executive secretary for the
Department of Missions and Youth Ministry.
Upon completion of that term, he returned to parish work at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish in San Juanito, Mexico, where he remained for 16 years. During that time, he was the Diocesan representative for the well being of priests, Pastor Vicar for the northern area of Mexico and a member of the Pastoral and Economic advisory board.
He became the Director of Pastoral Ministry for Casa Guadalupe in 2008 by the Archdiocese of Milwaukee.
